Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. Her album, It's too late for Tina the in the same year. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the film. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career with ease with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has made a name as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Born in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down there ever since.
